Project details:

Project length: 2024 – 3.000 m2 (ongoing project)

Senior Architect: Marc Barani

Application company: Bechet

Client: City Grand Paris – Grand Paris Express

Purpose of mineralization:

Architect Marc Barani (Atelier Barani) describes the vision: “We want each step of the descent to the platforms to be both visually and physically engaging. As the train arrives, dynamic lighting with color-changing strips will illuminate the station, creating a welcoming atmosphere.”

Based on the recommendation of architect Marc Barani, ProtecD® mineralization was applied, to preserve the aesthetics of the newly built metro station and protect its walls from vandalism and dirt.

Mineralization prevents graffiti paint, liquids, and dirt from seeping into the surface.

This process preserves the concrete’s beauty and quality long-term, preventing premature aging. Additionally, mineralization reduces dust emissions from the exposed concrete, improving air quality and minimizing cleaning expenses.
